Junior Associate – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Vizag, India)

About the Role

As a Junior Associate, you will support core manufacturing activities while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards in pharmaceutical production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute independently to team deliverables while collaborating effectively with colleagues.

  • Manage daily tasks, timelines, and personal development goals with accountability for results.

  • Follow established procedures to complete tasks of varied scope and complexity within defined timelines.

  • Identify and resolve moderately routine operational issues.

  • Execute assignments under moderate supervision, escalating deviations from standard processes to supervisors.

  • Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance in all assigned work.

  • Operate equipment, machinery, tools, and materials required for production, ensuring adequate stock levels before initiating runs.

  • Maintain strict adherence to plant safety regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

  • Conduct in-process quality checks and support continuous improvement in processes and safety.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or related operations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Strong attention to detail with sound organizational skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment

  • Proficiency with manufacturing systems, software, and equipment

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a high-demand environment

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and mentoring experience
