Job Overview
The Executive – Analytical Sciences will be responsible for developing, qualifying, and validating physicochemical analytical methods within the Analytical Sciences function. The role focuses on supporting batch release testing and structural characterization of monoclonal antibodies and related biologics.

The selected candidate will contribute technical expertise in analytical method development, product characterization, and quality assessment of biologics using advanced analytical techniques. This position requires strong scientific knowledge, laboratory experience, and cross-functional collaboration within research and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify, and validate physicochemical analytical methods for monoclonal antibodies and biosimilars.

  • Perform analytical characterization of biologics expressed using CHO or murine myeloma cell line systems.

  • Support batch release testing and structural characterization of therapeutic proteins.

  • Conduct product purity and identity assessment for monoclonal antibodies, bi-specific antibodies, receptor fusions, and antibody fragments.

  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques including chromatographic, electrophoretic, and spectroscopic methods.

  • Support higher order structure characterization of bio-therapeutics using specialized analytical tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.

  • Analyze experimental data using statistical tools and prepare technical reports.

  • Maintain compliance with quality standards, laboratory practices, and documentation requirements.

Technical Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in physicochemical method development and validation for biosimilars or biologics.

  • Strong hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as SEC-HPLC, RP-HPLC, CEX, capillary electrophoresis, NP-HPLC for glycan characterization, dynamic light scattering (DLS), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy, SEC-MALS, and spectrophotometric methods.

  • Understanding of monoclonal antibody characterization and structural analysis.

  • Experience with higher order structure analysis and mass spectrometry is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with statistical software such as GraphPad or JMP.

  • Strong scientific, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • Master of Science (MSc) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in biosimilar or biologics analytical method development.
