Position Overview: Data Management Intern

Labcorp is inviting applications for the 2026 Global Internship Program. As a Data Management Intern, you will support nonclinical safety assessment studies and gain hands-on experience in data management workflows, dataset preparation, regulatory data formatting, and cross-functional collaboration.

This internship provides an excellent foundation for early-career professionals seeking to build expertise in data science, data management, biomedical informatics, and scientific computing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Learn the end-to-end process of Toxicology Safety Assessment data management.

  • Use specialized software tools to support accurate and efficient data capture.

  • Train on dataset preparation, including dataset generation, quality checks, and compliance reviews.

  • Review scientific documents such as study protocols and reports to gather relevant dataset inputs.

  • Collaborate with global teams including Data Management, IT, and scientific researchers to address data queries.


Eligibility & Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in:

    • Life Sciences

    • Informatics

    • Data Science

    • Computer Science / Information Systems

    • Statistics

    • Biomedical Sciences

    • Mathematics

  • Interest and foundational knowledge in programming languages such as:

    • SQL, Python, R, SAS

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Query, Pivot Tables.

  • Ability to understand scientific and medical terminology.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
