About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Employer Data Team in Bangalore. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the U.S. Market Access landscape and evolving payer/employer models. The team consists of three colleagues and reports directly to the Manager.

You will work with large healthcare datasets and advanced analytical tools to provide insights on employer and payer data, helping solve real-world business problems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research carrier contractors and healthcare provider information available in the public domain.

  • Perform high-quality data analysis and in-depth market research to answer business questions.

  • Conduct research on employer data, including employee counts, benefit design trends, and identify/validate missing data.

  • Monitor industry developments, mergers and acquisitions, and competitive intelligence within the employer and payer landscape.

  • Assist in quality control and validation of datasets to maintain high data integrity.

  • Work on projects involving employer data, benefit plans, prescription drug (Rx) benefits, and U.S. Managed Care/Payer/PBM datasets.

  • Utilize Clarivate-owned market access datasets in team projects.


About You

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in U.S. healthcare market, familiarity with healthcare datasets, U.S. payers, PBMs, or employer benefits.

  • Exposure to SQL.

  • Proven experience in primary or secondary research and data analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (advantageous).

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Flexible and collaborative approach to work.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively and adopt a systematic approach to tasks.


About the Team

The Employer Data Team works with large healthcare datasets and advanced analytical tools to solve business challenges while building industry-specific knowledge.


Working Hours

  • India-based team: 12 PM – 9 PM

  • Permanent, full-time role

  • Monday – Friday (Hybrid work mode)
