About the Role:

Clarivate is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Employer Data Team in Bangalore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on the U.S. Market Access landscape, focusing on payer/employer models and healthcare data.

You’ll collaborate with a skilled team of analysts experienced in data analytics, SQL, advanced Excel, and primary/secondary research, contributing to meaningful projects in U.S. healthcare and market access data.


Key Responsibilities:

🔍 Research & Analysis

  • Conduct research on carrier contractors and healthcare provider information from public sources.

  • Perform high-quality data analysis and in-depth market research to address key business questions.

  • Research employer data, including employee counts, benefit design trends, and identify/validate missing data.

  • Track industry developments, including mergers & acquisitions and competitive intelligence within the employer and payer ecosystem.

  • Support data validation and quality control to ensure high data accuracy and integrity.

📊 Projects & Exposure

  • Work on Employer Data, Benefit Plans, and Prescription Drug (Rx) Benefits projects.

  • Gain exposure to Clarivate’s proprietary Market Access datasets, particularly those focused on U.S. Managed Care, Payers, and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs).


About You (Experience, Education & Skills):

🎓 Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences, Healthcare, Data Science, or related field)

  • Experience in the U.S. healthcare market, with understanding of payers, PBMs, or employer benefits

  • Exposure to SQL

  • Proven experience in primary or secondary research and data analysis

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

💡 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset

  • Strong time management and systematic approach to tasks


About the Team:

The Employer Data Team manages large-scale healthcare datasets and uses advanced analytical tools to solve real-world business challenges. This is a collaborative team environment offering exposure to market access intelligence and U.S. healthcare data ecosystems.


Working Hours:

🕛 12 PM – 9 PM IST (Monday to Friday)
🏠 Hybrid Work Model
