Role Overview

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Graduate Pharmacovigilance Associate to support global drug safety and post-marketing surveillance activities. This role is ideal for recent graduates seeking to begin their career in pharmacovigilance within a structured, supportive, and internationally collaborative environment.

As a Graduate Pharmacovigilance Associate, you will assist in adverse event processing, data quality review, and safety data management while receiving comprehensive training in global pharmacovigilance regulations and best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process adverse event and safety case information in global pharmacovigilance databases using medical and scientific knowledge

  • Perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance

  • Collaborate with international pharmacovigilance and clinical data management teams to ensure high-quality safety reporting

  • Support projects focused on innovation and continuous improvement within Safety and Clinical Data Management Services

  • Participate in structured training programs to develop knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes, regulations, and safety reporting standards


Qualifications & Experience Required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline

Experience

  • 0–1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, clinical research, or a related field

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior pharmacovigilance experience is not mandatory

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet reporting timelines

  • Very good written and spoken English, including medical terminology

  • Very good written and spoken Polish (mandatory)

  • French language proficiency is an advantage

  • Basic understanding of pharmacovigilance concepts is desirable but not required (full training provided)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, team-based global environment
