Role Overview

ICON Strategic Solutions, a globally recognized healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization, is hiring a Graduate Pharmacovigilance Associate to join its remote drug safety team in Poland. This entry-level role is ideal for recent life sciences or pharmacy graduates seeking to build a long-term career in pharmacovigilance and drug safety operations.

The role provides hands-on exposure to global adverse event processing, safety data quality, and international collaboration, along with structured training in pharmacovigilance regulations and systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process adverse event (AE) and safety data in global pharmacovigilance databases using source documentation and medical knowledge.

  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance of entered safety data.

  • Collaborate closely with international pharmacovigilance and clinical data teams to ensure timely and high-quality safety reporting.

  • Support internal initiatives and projects aimed at innovation within Safety and Clinical Data Management Services.

  • Participate in structured training and professional development programs to strengthen knowledge of pharmacovigilance practices, global regulations, and safety workflows.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.

  • Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, clinical research, or related internships is acceptable.

  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.

  • Very good command of English (medical terminology) and Polish (written and spoken).

  • Knowledge of French is an added advantage.

  • Basic understanding of pharmacovigilance principles is desirable; formal training will be provided.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
