Qualification:

  • M.Sc. (Chemistry) / B.E. (Chemical) / B.Tech (Chemical)

Experience:

  • 18 to 25 years of experience in Production at an API plant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review technology transfer documents from R&D and ensure effective assimilation and implementation by production personnel.

  • Plan and execute manufacturing activities in alignment with schedules and budgets, optimizing plant capacity usage.

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality production while maintaining efficient use of resources.

  • Coordinate with the engineering department for timely preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned equipment breakdowns.

  • Collaborate with Purchase and Planning departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.

  • Ensure wastewater disposal complies with internal policies and environmental standards.

  • Develop and maintain a disciplined and well-trained workforce aligned with organizational growth objectives.

  • Introduce and implement innovative practices to boost productivity and improve work culture.

  • Adhere to cGMP standards in accordance with ICH guidelines applicable to the role.

  • Ensure GxP practices (including Good Documentation, Laboratory, Engineering, and Warehouse Practices) are followed at the site.

  • Oversee review processes for batch records, SOPs, and cGMP documentation. Investigate deviations, change controls, and Out-of-Specification (OOS) incidents.

  • Implement and enforce all safety protocols and practices rigorously.

  • Ensure HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies are conducted for risk-prone operations.

  • Monitor and control plant emissions within permitted limits.

  • Recommend and implement work permit systems such as hot work permits and vessel entry permits for user departments.

Estimated Salary: ₹25 – ₹40 LPA (depending on experience and company size)
