Clinical Eye Care Nurse Educator – Reno, NV

Job Summary

Syneos Health is hiring a Clinical Eye Care Nurse Educator in Reno, NV, to provide essential training and support to Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) treating patients with relapsed refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). This impactful field-based role focuses on delivering clinical education, supporting care coordination, and partnering with oncology teams to improve patient outcomes through informed and timely eye care interventions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver educational training to Eye Care Professionals on the necessity and protocols of eye exams for RRMM patients.

  • Communicate and clarify complex oncology-related eye care procedures and results to healthcare professionals and oncology teams.

  • Collaborate with Oncology Account Managers and Medical Affairs teams to align educational efforts with FDA and REMS guidelines.

  • Create and present product-specific educational materials to clinical teams.

  • Support healthcare professionals in delivering cohesive, compliant patient care communications.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant healthcare field.

  • 3+ years of experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing, preferably with oncology or patient education focus.

  • Alternatively, 1–3 years of direct oncology clinical experience with patient care and physician interaction.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical medical concepts.

  • Proven ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional healthcare environments.

  • Skilled in training content development and clinical instruction.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Registered Nurse (CRN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) with eye care background.

  • Experience with specialty pharmacy or payer-related education preferred.
