About the Team
Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is an internal global organization designed to centralize and support processes across:
Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions.
SBO serves as a strategic partner to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial teams, delivering excellence through collaboration and innovation.
Main Responsibilities
Overall Purpose
Create, review, and manage complex scientific content independently, ensuring high-quality outputs for medical education and publications. Provide mentorship to writers and collaborate closely with stakeholders across therapeutic areas.
🧩 Key Areas of Responsibility
People:
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in global medical and scientific communities.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals on publication content.
Coach and support senior/junior scientific writers in content development.
Performance:
Deliver high-quality publications and medical education materials (slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, etc.) within timelines.
Provide strategic publication support to internal teams and external experts.
Process:
Develop advanced publication and educational materials aligned with compliance standards.
Lead publication needs analysis and implement annual publication plans.
Collaborate with vendors for quality deliverables.
Continuously improve content and training effectiveness based on feedback.
Stakeholder Management:
Partner with global and regional scientific communication teams to identify needs.
Liaise with medical departments to develop customized, relevant scientific content.
About You
🎓 Education:
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline, or a Medical degree (MBBS/MD).
💼 Experience:
8+ years in scientific/medical content creation (pharma, healthcare, or academia).
4+ years in a leadership or mentoring role.
🧠 Technical Skills:
Strong therapeutic area knowledge.
Expertise in publication development, submission, and project management.
Familiarity with tools like PromoMats and iEnvision.
💬 Soft Skills:
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams.
🌍 Language:
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
