Job Overview

Organize and manage epidemiology and real-world research projects, contributing to study protocols, reports, data collection methods, and project documentation. Support preparation of abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, and other study-related documents. Assignments include literature reviews, protocol development, data quality support, and ensuring scientific rigor in real-world studies.


Essential Functions

Study Design & Research Execution

  • Assist in design and implementation of epidemiology/pharmacoepidemiology methodologies for real-world studies (RWD/RWE).

  • Support drug safety, effectiveness, observational, and low-intervention studies using real-world data.

  • Perform systematic and critical literature reviews and prepare written summaries.

  • Draft major sections of study protocols, clinical study reports (CSRs), and client-facing documents.

Scientific & Technical Contributions

  • Assist with preparation of abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and oral presentations for conferences.

  • Provide epidemiological input on statistical analysis plans and review analysis outputs.

  • Support CRF/eCRF development, data mapping, form previews, and regulatory-related tasks.

  • Conduct statistical analysis when required.

  • Contribute to proposal development and internal best-practice initiatives.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Organize and help manage research projects and timelines.

  • Support senior staff on research initiatives as assigned.

  • Participate in client-facing meetings and act as a recognized member of the project team.

  • May serve as a project manager depending on project needs.


Qualifications

Education

  • Master’s degree in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, public health (epidemiology concentration), pharmacy (epidemiology concentration), or a relevant scientific field with ≥1 year of experience (Required)
    OR

  • Ph.D. (Preferred)

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong methodological training in epidemiology or related observational health research areas.

  • Excellent oral and written communication; medical writing experience beneficial.

  • Ability to collaborate in a global, matrixed environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Edge.

  • Ability to interpret outputs from SAS, R, or similar programming tools.
