Job Overview
The EM Regulatory Operations Specialist provides operational and administrative support to Emerging Markets (EM) Regional and Local Regulatory Teams. This role focuses on regulatory data management, compliance monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and process optimization in alignment with organizational policies and local regulatory requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support and Regulatory Data Management
Provide operational support in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and local regulations.
Manage regulatory data within approved databases, including data entry, document uploads, and data validation.
Perform compliance checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of regulatory documentation.
Support data compilation, document management, and publishing processes.
Handle administrative and operational activities as required by regulatory teams.

Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Support continuous awareness of regulatory updates and operational requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of tasks through coordinated teamwork and process alignment.

Planning and Coordination
Demonstrate effective planning, follow-up, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Deliver timely, high-quality operational support in accordance with internal procedures and standards.

Regulatory Compliance and Governance
Ensure adherence to organizational regulatory procedures and applicable legislation.
Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory requirements and implement relevant updates.
Ensure compliance with record retention and document archiving policies.

Process Improvement and Standardization
Support initiatives to streamline and harmonize regulatory processes.
Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and delivering training where applicable.
Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or a related life sciences discipline.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in regulatory operations or regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

Required Skills and Competencies
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Knowledge of compliance practices and process improvement methodologies.
