Job Overview
GSK is hiring a Senior Medical Manager – Hemato-oncology to lead medical strategy, scientific engagement, and evidence generation in the oncology therapy area. The role focuses on delivering high-quality scientific communication, supporting clinical studies, engaging key opinion leaders, and driving patient-centric initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Strategy & Scientific Leadership
Develop and provide medical inputs into brand strategy and non-promotional activities
Support evidence generation initiatives and scientific planning
Deliver high-quality scientific materials and presentations
Clinical Research & Studies
Act as study delivery lead, clinical sciences lead, or medical monitor for company-sponsored studies
Evaluate investigator-initiated study proposals
Ensure proper execution and oversight of clinical research activities
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with Key External Experts (KEEs) through congresses, CMEs, and scientific forums
Build collaborative relationships to drive medical and brand strategies
Act as a scientific speaker at events to share insights and foster clinical discussions
Patient-Centric Initiatives
Manage and optimize Patient Support Programs (PSPs)
Identify new opportunities to enhance patient outcomes
Develop patient-focused strategies within therapy area
Training & Internal Support
Provide product and disease area training to field teams
Ensure teams have updated scientific knowledge
Support internal stakeholders with medical expertise
Medical Governance & Compliance
Review and approve non-promotional materials as per compliance guidelines
Ensure timely response to medical queries with accurate scientific data
Update prescribing information and ensure regulatory compliance
Business & Market Insights
Evaluate new product opportunities based on medical evidence
Support business development teams with scientific insights
Present data to formulary and tender committees when required
Required Skills
Medical & Scientific Expertise
Strong knowledge in oncology, preferably hemato-oncology
Understanding of clinical research and medical affairs functions
Communication & Presentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
MBBS with postgraduate specialization in Pharmacology, Medicine, Oncology, or Immunology
5–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or medical affairs
Experience in oncology therapy area (hemato-oncology preferred)
Strong technical writing and scientific documentation skills
