Job Overview

Clario is seeking an experienced Echo Sonographer to support newly awarded gastrointestinal (GI) clinical studies. This remote role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and integrity of imaging data, including Intestinal Ultrasound (IUS), a cutting-edge modality critical for ongoing clinical trials. As an integral member of the global clinical imaging team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards in image acquisition, analysis, and protocol compliance.

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to life-changing research while leveraging advanced imaging techniques in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.


Key Responsibilities

Imaging Data Review & Analysis

  • Review and analyze echocardiography and intestinal ultrasound image data for quality, protocol compliance, and accuracy

  • Verify imaging data meets project-specific requirements and generate queries for clarification when needed

  • Perform precise measurements as a protocol reader and prepare images for client submission

Study & Site Support

  • Collaborate with therapeutic and clinical teams to resolve imaging quality issues

  • Conduct training sessions and support calls for study sites on imaging protocols, data submission, and quality standards

  • Review site evaluations and verify imaging-related qualifications for clinical research teams

  • Assist in designing and reviewing study startup documentation, imaging manuals, and protocol guidelines

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new imaging tools, software updates, and data management systems

  • Demonstrate pre-quantification and analysis workflows for internal teams and client training


Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certification:

  • Current board certification in the relevant imaging modality (RDCS, RDMS)

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Sonography, Radiology, Life Sciences, or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical imaging experience as an Imaging Technologist or within clinical trials

  • Experience with echocardiography or other imaging modalities; IUS experience is a plus

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Proficiency with imaging systems and Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote, virtual team

  • Familiarity with clinical trial documentation, SOPs, and regulatory standards
