We are looking for a Clinical Outsourcing Director to manage all sourcing activities for assigned drug development programs. This strategic leadership position will involve overseeing vendor strategy, selection, contracting, and performance management to ensure quality, compliance, and cost standards are met.
Program Leadership:
Lead the sourcing team, contribute to program planning and budgeting, and ensure alignment of sourcing with program goals.
Vendor Strategy & Management:
Align outsourcing needs with broader strategies. Serve as the escalation point for vendor-related issues in collaboration with Vendor Alliance Management.
Vendor Selection & Contracting:
Manage the end-to-end vendor selection process, from RFP to proposal review, and lead contract negotiations with legal and finance teams.
Change & Performance Management:
Oversee change orders, monitor contract performance, manage documentation, and ensure that program needs are met continuously.
Process Optimization & Compliance:
Drive improvements in outsourcing processes, tools, and templates. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Market Insight & Innovation:
Stay updated on outsourcing trends, vendor capabilities, and regulatory changes. Introduce best practices and innovative strategies to outsourcing.
Educational Background:
Degree in a scientific, legal, or economic discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Proven experience in a clinical outsourcing or procurement leadership role. Strong knowledge of vendor management, contract development, and clinical trial operations.
Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Language Skills:
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Management Experience:
Previous line management experience, including team development and performance planning.
