Position Summary:
The Director, Clinical Development will provide strategic and operational leadership for global clinical programs in the Hematology/Oncology therapeutic area. This includes medical monitoring of clinical trials, data interpretation, regulatory support, and cross-functional collaboration to drive the execution of clinical development plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and provide medical oversight for global clinical trials and protocols.

  • Serve as medical monitor, ensuring subject safety and trial integrity in hematology/oncology programs.

  • Collaborate with clinical operations, regulatory affairs, biostatistics, safety, and other functions to ensure timely and high-quality study execution.

  • Review and interpret clinical data for study reports and regulatory submissions (e.g., IND, NDA).

  • Identify lifecycle management and strategic growth opportunities for new products.

  • Engage with external key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical investigators to align development with current practices and scientific innovation.

  • Represent clinical development in cross-functional teams and external interactions.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree required.

  • Board Eligibility/Certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical development experience in academia and/or the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience with global hematology/oncology clinical trials.

  • Knowledge of GCP, MedDRA, pharmacovigilance, and drug safety processes.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • Ability to travel up to 30–40% when required.

Preferred Experience:

  • U.S. licensure and/or direct clinical practice experience.

  • Expertise in leading cooperative group collaborations and global clinical networks.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $240,000 – $360,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

  • Additional Compensation: Eligible for discretionary bonus and long-term equity incentives.
