About the Role

Infosys is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager – Life Sciences to lead large-scale digital transformation and technology delivery programs across the Life Sciences domain. The role involves end-to-end ownership of complex engagements, stakeholder management, delivery governance, financial accountability, and leadership of large cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Life Sciences business processes, large program delivery, client engagement, and enterprise technology platforms while ensuring high-quality execution aligned with organizational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Program Governance

  • Own end-to-end delivery of large and complex Life Sciences programs.

  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resource planning.

  • Ensure adherence to delivery governance frameworks and quality standards.

  • Drive Agile, Hybrid, and DevOps delivery methodologies.

  • Lead release planning, execution, and milestone tracking.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of accountability for client delivery success.

  • Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams.

  • Lead governance reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive presentations.

  • Manage escalations and ensure timely issue resolution.

Financial & Business Management

  • Own program P&L responsibilities including:

    • Revenue Management

    • Margin Management

    • Forecasting

    • Cost Optimization

  • Drive operational efficiency and productivity improvements.

  • Identify opportunities for account growth, renewals, and transformation initiatives.

  • Support business development and strategic client expansion activities.

Delivery Excellence

  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and business outcome metrics.

  • Ensure delivery performance through data-driven decision-making.

  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements including GxP and FDA standards where applicable.

People Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead large distributed teams ranging from 50–200+ resources.

  • Mentor project managers, delivery leads, and technical teams.

  • Build domain and technology capabilities across delivery organizations.

  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in:

    • Engineering

    • Related Discipline

Preferred:

  • MBA or Postgraduate Management Qualification

Experience

  • 15–20+ years of overall IT experience.

  • Extensive experience leading large-scale delivery programs.

  • Proven experience managing multi-vendor and global engagements.

  • Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives.
