Role Overview
The Data Analyst I will support business-critical data integration, analytics, and operational processes within the organization. This role involves developing data pipelines, analyzing large datasets, and ensuring the integrity, reliability, and availability of enterprise data systems.

The position requires expertise in modern data engineering technologies, particularly Azure-based data platforms, and close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to maintain efficient data workflows and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Extraction and Transformation

  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins and Common Table Expressions (CTEs), to extract and transform data from multiple sources.

  • Support data integration and transformation activities within enterprise data pipelines.

Data Pipeline Monitoring and Optimization

  • Ensure business logic and data quality validation checks are properly implemented within Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks pipelines.

  • Monitor system performance and ensure timely delivery of data within defined service-level agreements (SLAs).

Data Quality and Troubleshooting

  • Identify and resolve data-related issues through detailed root cause analysis.

  • Implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity and system reliability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to support operational reporting and analytical requirements.

  • Communicate effectively across departments to align data objectives and ensure successful project execution.

Client Engagement and Reporting

  • Participate in client engagements and support the presentation of analytical insights and findings.

  • Translate complex technical outputs into clear and actionable business insights.

Documentation and Process Management

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, processes, and system workflows.

  • Ensure knowledge continuity and clarity across teams through structured documentation practices.

Release and Deployment Support

  • Work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes and understand release management workflows from development to operations.

  • Assist with deployment activities and system updates.

Third-Party Data Integration

  • Support integration of enterprise data systems with third-party platforms such as Veeva CRM and Salesforce.

Operational Support

  • Provide operational support during designated shift hours aligned with EST business requirements.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or ETL development.

  • Experience working with modern data platforms and enterprise data integration environments.

Certifications

  • Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification is required.

  • Databricks certifications are highly desirable.
