Job Title: Data Analyst (DA)

Department: Delivery

Role Overview:

The Data Analyst (DA) is responsible for data abstraction, curation, and entry with a focus on specified disease and project requirements. The role ensures accuracy, compliance with quality standards, and participation in team learning and special initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Data Curation:

  • Perform simple to complex data abstraction, requiring interpretation and precise data entry.
  • Contribute to team meetings and learning sessions to enhance processes and outcomes.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in medical terminology and proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) and data capture systems.
  • Self-report activities such as time spent on records, completed audits, and other relevant operational metrics.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with minimum quality levels as per the QA plan (accuracy of >95% or higher based on project requirements).
  • Receive and act on feedback from Quality Analysts to reconcile errors promptly.
  • Participate in quarterly Inter-Rater Reliability (IRR) assessments to ensure consistent standards.

Special Projects:

  • Lead or contribute to special projects or client-specific initiatives as directed.

Security Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality by never sharing passwords.
  • Ensure workstations are locked when not in use.
  • Avoid using unauthorized applications.
  • Ensure no PHI (Protected Health Information) is stored on unauthorized domains.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy (B.Sc. / M.Sc.).

Experience:

  • 0-1 year of experience in data abstraction or related roles.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in computer systems and data entry tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet deadlines effectively.

Work Mode:

  • Work From Office (WFO)
