Consultant / Senior Consultant – IP Search & Analysis
Location: Sector 90, Noida, Uttar Pradesh (On-site)
Job Description:
Concur IP (A Questel company) is actively hiring for the position of Consultant / Senior Consultant. This role involves conducting comprehensive IP-related searches and delivering strategic insights across diverse technologies, particularly in Chemistry, Advanced Materials, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, and Pharmaceutical domains. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in patent analytics and strong communication skills to interface effectively with inventors and attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct prior-art searches, including novelty, freedom-to-operate, validity/invalidity, state-of-the-art, patent landscaping, patent-to-product, and infringement/Evidence of Use analysis.
Interact with inventors and patent attorneys to understand and analyze invention disclosures and IP requirements.
Evaluate patent portfolios for competitive intelligence and technology landscaping.
Prepare invention disclosure forms (IDFs) and generate detailed deliverables based on custom templates.
Use various patent and non-patent databases, including Orbit, STN, and Scopus.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Advanced Materials, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in IP analytics or related domains.
Proficiency in using patent databases like Orbit, STN, and Scopus.
Strong comprehension of technical subject matter and ability to handle technologies across various sectors.
Excellent analytical, communication (written and interpersonal), and multitasking skills.
Experience with office actions and patent drafting is an added advantage.
