Job Overview

The Compliance Operations Director is a leadership role overseeing Amneal’s compliance program, including policy management, training, and global third-party due diligence. The position ensures compliance across the organization while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities

Policy & SOP Management

  • Develop, maintain, and update global Compliance policies and SOPs.

  • Serve as primary advisor on policy interpretation and applicability.

  • Lead annual policy review and refresh process.

  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to communicate policy updates.

  • Coordinate with control functions (HR, Finance, IT) for policy alignment.

Compliance Training Program

  • Develop, maintain, and operate Amneal’s global compliance training program.

  • Launch training across multiple formats for all Amneal functions.

  • Train Compliance colleagues and other functions as needed.

  • Maintain centralized training records and explore cost-effective improvement options.

Third-Party Due Diligence (TPDD) Program

  • Serve as primary global contact for TPDD operations.

  • Run preliminary reports on potential third parties and advise colleagues on risks.

  • Facilitate distribution of due diligence questionnaires.

  • Provide training on TPDD SOP and platform usage.

Collaboration & Advisory

  • Build relationships across departments and functions to support compliance initiatives.

  • Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on compliance matters.


Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)

  • Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA), Juris Doctor (JD), Ph.D.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical industry compliance, legal, or audit roles.

Skills:

  • Advanced ethics, integrity, and leadership.

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and multi-tasking skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry guidance affecting corporate compliance (e.g., OIG Guidance, PhRMA Code, Open Payments, False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statutes).

  • Experience developing compliance policies and governance structures.

  • Understanding of OIG guidance and DOJ evaluation of corporate compliance programs.


Salary & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $200,000 – $240,000 per year

  • Eligibility for short-term incentives (bonus/performance-based) and long-term incentives (e.g., restricted stock units).
