🎓 Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, or equivalent (Required)

  • MD, DO, or PhD (Preferred)

💼 Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years administering psychiatric assessments, rating scales, or structured clinical interviews

  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience with relevant psychiatric populations

  • Minimum 3 years experience with clinical trial scale administration (excluding graduate/doctoral research)

  • Experience in CNS (Central Nervous System) trials preferred

🗣️ Language Requirement:

  • Fluent in English

  • Native-level Oriya speaker (for trial-specific assessments)


Job Overview:

The Clinical Specialist Consultant ensures that clinical trial assessments are conducted in a standardized and reliable manner. The role involves evaluating rater performance, providing guidance, and maintaining data integrity for psychiatric rating scales.


Key Responsibilities:

🧠 Rater Evaluation & Clinical Oversight

  • Review scales administered by raters to ensure standardized assessments.

  • Conduct live interactions with raters to discuss methodology, scoring techniques, and provide guidance.

  • Evaluate rater performance through mock interviews or functional assessments.

📊 Data Quality & Documentation

  • Prepare for discussions with raters by evaluating case data and relevant scale items.

  • Complete assigned rater interactions and tasks as scheduled.

  • Submit documentation associated with tasks in a timely manner.

  • Participate in orientation, training, and calibration activities.

🤝 Collaboration & Professional Conduct

  • Maintain strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and clients.

  • Provide guidance and feedback to ensure data reliability and quality standards are met.

⚙️ Technical Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills


Required Skills:

  • Psychiatric assessment and clinical interview expertise

  • Administration of scales such as YGTSS-R, TS-CGI-S, TS-CGI-C

  • CNS trial experience (preferred)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
