Clinical Trial Psych Rater – Gujarati Speaking

About the Role
IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Trial Psych Rater (Clinical Specialist Consultant) fluent in Gujarati to support global clinical research activities. This position involves evaluating psychiatric assessments, reviewing rating scales, ensuring scoring consistency, and providing expert guidance to clinical raters. The role is ideal for professionals with strong clinical psychology expertise and experience in psychiatric evaluations within research settings.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in study orientation, clinical training, and calibration sessions.
Review case documentation in advance of rater discussions.
Conduct scheduled rater interactions and ensure accurate application of scoring methodologies.
Provide expert feedback on clinical assessments and rating techniques.
Complete assigned tasks and submit documentation within required timelines.
Maintain compliance with study protocols, data standards, and regulatory expectations.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, or equivalent.
Preferred: MD, DO, or PhD in a related field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience administering psychiatric assessments, structured clinical interviews, and rating scales (including EQ-5D-5L interviewer-administered and Proxy 1 Version, and smRS).
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience working with psychiatric populations.
Minimum 3 years of experience administering psychiatric scales in clinical research trials (post-graduate/doctoral work not counted).
Prior CNS clinical trial experience is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional interactions with clinical staff and study teams.
Excellent organizational abilities, documentation accuracy, and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in Gujarati are mandatory.
