The Clinical Trial Psych Rater (Clinical Specialist Consultant – Gujarati Speaking) is responsible for reviewing psychiatric rating scales administered during clinical trials to ensure standardization, reliability, and data quality. The role includes evaluating rater performance, conducting live interactions for feedback, and ensuring accurate assessment methodologies.
Review scales administered by raters to ensure standardized, reliable assessments.
Conduct live interactions with raters to discuss assessment methods, scoring, and provide feedback or guidance.
Participate in training, orientation, and calibration activities as required.
Evaluate case data and prepare for discussions with raters (including relevant documents and materials).
Perform functional assessments of rater performance, such as mock interviews.
Assist in preparing and distributing communications related to rating activities.
Ensure timely submission of all assigned documentation.
Education: Minimum Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, or Social Work.
Preferred: MD, DO, or PhD.
Experience:
At least 3 years administering psychiatric assessments, rating scales, or structured clinical interviews.
At least 3 years of clinical experience working with psychiatric populations.
Minimum 3 years administering scales in clinical research trials (excluding academic research).
Preferred Experience:
Central Nervous System (CNS) clinical trials.
Primary scales: EQ-5D-5L (Interviewer administered and Proxy 1 version), mRS.
Fluency in English and Gujarati (native speaker in Gujarati required).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with raters and stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Remote/Work-from-home position.
Must participate in all required training and maintain timely task completion.
Flexibility to manage multiple priorities effectively.
