Clinical Trial Manager – Remote | India | Syneos Health

Job Summary

Syneos Health is hiring a Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) for a remote opportunity in India. This role focuses on managing Phase 1 clinical trials, ensuring execution in line with global regulatory and GCP requirements. Ideal for experienced professionals in clinical trial operations, this role offers the chance to work with a global leader responsible for 94% of novel FDA drug approvals over the last 5 years.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee development and execution of Phase 1 clinical trials.

  • Implement protocols in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regional regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with principal investigators, sponsors, and internal teams.

  • Coordinate trial logistics: budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Track project milestones and deliverables; report study progress.

  • Prepare and present updates and analysis to stakeholders.

  • Provide mentorship to junior professionals in the clinical operations team.

  • Resolve operational challenges and ensure full documentation compliance.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical trial management.

  • 8–10 years of overall industry experience.

  • Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and clinical trial regulations.

  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in clinical trial software and Microsoft Office.

  • CCRP or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
