Position Summary

New Season is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee and manage the clinical operations at our Covington, KY location. The Clinical Supervisor will provide leadership and guidance to the counseling staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. This role will involve direct clinical supervision, audits, and staff training while collaborating with the multidisciplinary treatment team to meet the needs of patients living with OUD.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Supervision: Lead and supervise clinical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and guidelines. Review and audit patient records for compliance with treatment standards.
  • Compliance & Regulation: Ensure the clinic complies with all local, state, federal regulations, and Colonial Management Group policies. Adhere to patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and clinical supervision to counselors and staff to maintain high treatment standards.
  • Patient Care: Develop and implement patient group session schedules, ensuring effective therapeutic support. Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist with the clinical aspects of the quarterly quality assurance program and maintain accreditation with recognized bodies.
  • Community Relations: Actively participate in community relations activities as directed, enhancing the clinic’s visibility and engagement with the community.
  • Performance Monitoring: Provide feedback to staff performance, addressing concerns and assisting with performance improvement when necessary.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with clinic operations, including patient intake, discharge, aftercare, and related documentation.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
    • Required licensure or certification as per state requirements.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of five (5) years in a clinical setting, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of Methadone treatment and general clinical supervision practices.
    • Familiarity with Federal Confidentiality Law (42 CFR Part 2), HIPAA regulations, and ethics.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
    • Dependability and reliability in all aspects of the role.

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
    • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching.
  • Work Environment:

    • Open office setting with moderate noise levels.
    • Ability to perform other duties as required.

  • Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
  • Mathematics: Basic math skills for patient documentation and reporting.
  • Language: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, professional, and regulatory materials. Strong written and verbal communication skills to present information and respond to inquiries.
