Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater – Odiya Speaking to support stroke-related clinical trials through standardized patient assessments and clinical data quality review. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistency, protocol compliance, and accuracy in stroke evaluation processes across clinical research programs.

This remote opportunity is best suited for healthcare professionals with prior experience in stroke patient assessment, clinical trial environments, and neurological rating scales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer stroke-specific assessment scales including:
    • Modified Rankin Scale (mRS)
    • EQ-5D-5L
  • Review and evaluate assessments completed by other clinical raters to ensure scoring accuracy and protocol compliance.
  • Conduct live interactions with raters and provide guidance on scoring techniques, methodology, and assessment standards.
  • Participate in training sessions, orientation programs, and calibration activities to maintain certification consistency.
  • Prepare for scheduled rater discussions by reviewing patient case data and supporting clinical documentation.
  • Complete assigned rater interactions and submit all required reports and documentation within defined timelines.
  • Support mock interviews and performance evaluations for clinical raters when required.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in clinical documentation, data integrity, and research compliance.

Required Qualifications

Education

Minimum Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree (MA/MS) in:
    • Medicine
    • Neurology
    • Psychology
    • Or a related healthcare field

Preferred Qualification:

  • MD, DO, or PhD in a relevant medical or clinical discipline
