Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater – Odiya Speaking to support stroke-related clinical trials and healthcare research initiatives. The selected candidate will play a critical role in administering standardized stroke assessments, reviewing evaluation quality, and ensuring protocol compliance and inter-rater consistency across clinical studies.

This remote opportunity is ideal for healthcare professionals with prior experience in stroke patient assessment, neurological evaluations, and clinical trial processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer validated stroke assessment scales, including:
    • Modified Rankin Scale (mRS)
    • EQ-5D-5L
  • Review and evaluate assessments completed by other raters to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to study protocols.
  • Conduct live interactions with raters to provide guidance on scoring techniques and clinical assessment methodologies.
  • Participate in orientation sessions, certification activities, training programs, and calibration exercises to maintain assessment quality standards.
  • Review patient case data and relevant documentation before scheduled rater discussions and evaluations.
  • Complete assigned interactions, evaluations, and documentation within established timelines.
  • Assist with mock interviews and performance assessments of clinical raters when required.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical data quality, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree (MA/MS) in:
    • Medicine
    • Neurology
    • Psychology
    • Or a related healthcare discipline

Preferred Qualification:

  • MD, DO, or PhD in a relevant medical or healthcare field
