Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater – Odiya Speaking to support stroke-related clinical trials and healthcare research programs. The selected candidate will be responsible for administering standardized stroke assessments, reviewing clinical evaluations, and ensuring high-quality data consistency and protocol compliance throughout the research process.

This remote opportunity is ideal for healthcare professionals with prior experience in stroke patient management, neurological evaluations, and clinical trial assessment methodologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer validated stroke assessment scales including:
    • Modified Rankin Scale (mRS)
    • EQ-5D-5L
  • Review and evaluate assessments completed by other raters to ensure scoring accuracy and adherence to clinical trial protocols.
  • Conduct live interactions with raters and provide guidance on scoring techniques, methodology, and assessment consistency.
  • Participate in training sessions, orientation programs, certification activities, and calibration exercises to maintain standardized evaluation quality.
  • Prepare for rater discussions by reviewing patient case records and related clinical documentation.
  • Complete assigned rater interactions and submit all required reports and documentation within established timelines.
  • Support mock interviews and functional performance assessments for raters when necessary.
  • Ensure data quality, inter-rater reliability, and compliance with clinical research standards.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree (MA/MS) in:
    • Medicine
    • Neurology
    • Psychology
    • Or a related healthcare or clinical discipline

Preferred Qualification:

  • MD, DO, or PhD in a relevant medical or healthcare field
