Role Overview

The Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater (Marathi Speaking) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of clinical outcome assessments in stroke and CNS-focused clinical trials. This part-time, home-based role involves reviewing clinical rating scales, supporting rater training and calibration, and providing expert feedback to maintain data reliability across global studies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in rater orientation, training, and calibration sessions.

  • Review clinical case data and supporting documentation prior to rater interactions.

  • Conduct scheduled rater discussions and provide guidance on scoring methodologies and assessment tools.

  • Evaluate assessment quality to ensure protocol compliance and scoring consistency.

  • Complete assigned tasks, reports, and documentation accurately and within defined timelines.

  • Support effective communication to maintain high data quality standards.


Education & Experience Requirements

  • Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, or an equivalent discipline is required.

  • MD, DO, or PhD qualifications are preferred.

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience administering psychiatric or neurological assessments, rating scales, and structured clinical interviews such as mRS and/or EQ-5D-5L.

  • 3+ years of clinical experience working with psychiatric or neurological patient populations.

  • 3+ years of experience administering assessment scales in clinical research trials (excluding academic or doctoral training).

  • Prior experience in CNS or stroke clinical trials is an added advantage.


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational abilities with high attention to detail and time management.

  • Proficiency in Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time clinical research environment.


Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

  • Native-level proficiency in Marathi is mandatory.
