Job Overview:

The Clinical Research Physician (CRP) plays a core medical role in drug development and medical affairs within the Neuroscience therapeutic area at Lilly China. This position involves leadership in scientific initiatives and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance product development and commercialization. The CRP will be responsible for supporting medical affairs strategy, ensuring compliance, and leading external collaborations to further develop and support neuroscience products.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Neuroscience Medical Affairs

    • Lead medical affairs strategy for the launch and commercialization of neuroscience products.
    • Collaborate with the Neuroscience Business Unit to drive cross-functional integration and optimize strategic planning and execution.
    • Enhance customer interactions and scientific engagement with Lilly products.
  2. External Collaborations

    • Serve as Lilly’s medical representative in the Joining Development Committee for external collaborations on neuroscience products.
    • Engage in building partnerships with external scientific and medical communities to support drug development and medical affairs.
  3. Compliance

    • Ensure that all medical activities adhere to local and international regulations, laws, guidelines, and Lilly's internal policies and procedures.
    • Maintain high standards for compliance in the execution of medical research, scientific communications, and product development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent in a medically related field.
  • Clinical experience in neuroscience or related therapeutic areas.
  • At least 5 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or drug development, preferably in neuroscience.
  • Strong understanding of drug development processes and the ability to provide scientific leadership in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions, both internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in external collaborations and representing a company in scientific and medical partnerships.
  • Prior experience in product launch and commercialization in the neuroscience therapeutic area.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international medical regulations and compliance standards.
