Clinical Research Nurse – Statesville, NC (On-site)

Job Summary:

ICON plc, a leading global clinical research organization, is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator Nurse for an on-site position in Statesville, North Carolina. In this dynamic role, you will directly support clinical trials by delivering nursing care, managing patient data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) with a strong interest in advancing pharmaceutical research through patient-centered trial coordination.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical trial procedures according to approved study protocols.

  • Provide direct nursing care and support to clinical trial participants.

  • Accurately collect, record, and document patient data.

  • Assist in recruitment, screening, and enrollment of patients.

  • Ensure compliance with GCP and other regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaborate with physicians and research staff for protocol adherence and quality assurance.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification.

  • Licensed RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse).

  • Previous clinical research coordination experience is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and clinical trial regulations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
