Position Overview:

Emory University is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our research team. In this role, you will coordinate, implement, and evaluate clinical research trials, studies, and projects, providing essential support and direction throughout the research process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research Coordination: Develop and oversee research protocols, recruit and screen study participants, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage research-related financial accounts to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Clinical Support: Perform patient evaluations, administer medications and research instruments, and support specialized diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
  • Data Management: Collect and analyze data, assist in creating data collection systems, and compile comprehensive reports.
  • Grant and Publication Assistance: Contribute to writing research grants, academic publications, study materials, and correspondence.
  • Supervision: Provide direction and potentially supervise other Research Nurses or support staff.
  • Infusion Duties: Perform infusion tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Georgia.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of related nursing experience.
  • Credentialing: Must be credentialed through Emory Healthcare as RN II.
  • Remote Work: This position is generally performed in-person, though remote work options may be available at the department's discretion. Emory reserves the right to modify remote work status with notice.
