🧭 Job Summary

IQVIA is seeking Senior Project Leaders/Clinical Program Managers to join a global, innovative team driving healthcare forward. This high-profile role acts as the primary point of accountability for delivery, quality, and financial oversight in sponsor-dedicated clinical programs. The Clinical Program Manager leads cross-functional teams, ensuring milestone achievement, quality, and compliance while leveraging data analytics and best-in-class technology.


⚙️ Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Oversight

  • Lead global cross-functional project team delivery, accountable for achievement of milestones and contracted scope quality.

  • Serve as primary customer contact for progress updates and governance.

  • Develop study management plans and ensure consistent use of study tools, training materials, and SOPs.

  • Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Manage study team assignments, accountability, and resource requirements.

  • Ensure proactive management of study budgets, scope changes, and financial systems accuracy.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Liaise directly between IQVIA/sponsor functions and the customer.

  • Work closely with Clinical Lead for site management, Project Vendor Manager, Project Management Analyst, and Site Activation Manager.

  • Maintain governance and facilitate decision-making across programs and studies.

Analytical & Planning

  • Utilize Microsoft Project (MSP) for study/program timeline management.

  • Analyze program performance, progress, and financials for informed decision-making.

  • Implement and track mitigation plans for risks and delays.


🎓 Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or related field.

  • Professional Project Management certification preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in Clinical Project Management in industry/CRO/business.

  • Clinical drug development, clinical operations, or clinical R&D experience preferred.

  • Experience leading cross-functional global teams.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong ability to resolve conflicts and influence teams without direct authority.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project (MSP).

  • Experience in planning and managing governance bodies preferred.

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
