Job Overview
ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a retail pharmacy role in Fortuna, CA. The pharmacist will focus on reviewing prescriptions, compounding, dispensing medications, and providing expert guidance to patients on drug safety and potential interactions.
Compensation
Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
Tax-free stipend available (amount to be confirmed with recruiter).
Key Responsibilities
Prescription Review: Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Dispensing Medications: Prepare and provide prescribed drugs efficiently and safely.
Customer Interaction: Address patient questions and concerns about medications, advising on safety and potential drug interactions.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to local, state, and federal pharmacy guidelines and standards.
Qualifications
Licensure: Must have an active pharmacist license in good standing.
Experience: Previous retail pharmacy experience is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively assist patients.
