Job Description:

Fortrea, a global leader in Clinical Research, is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to oversee the pharmaceutical aspects of clinical trials. This role focuses on the preparation, dispensing, and compliance of investigational compounds and pharmacy operations.

This is a full-time, office-based position located in Dallas, TX.


What You Will Do:

You will use your pharmaceutical knowledge and regulatory expertise to maintain high standards in clinical trial operations and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Sponsors to demonstrate pharmacy and dispensing capabilities

  • Develop and review study protocols, pharmacy manuals, and preparation logs

  • Engage with regulatory bodies relevant to pharmacy functions

  • Serve as a technical advisor to clinical teams and departments

  • Ensure pharmacy facilities and processes meet regulatory standards

  • Maintain and enhance pharmacy processes and equipment

  • Conduct pharmacy feasibility reviews for incoming proposals

  • Implement and oversee dispensing best practices

  • Perform all other assigned duties as needed


Qualifications:

  • License: Registered Pharmacist/PharmD per applicable state requirements

    Relevant and equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience required

    • Strong preference for individuals with clinical research, hospital, or long-term care pharmacy backgrounds


Key Competencies:

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical research setting

  • Able to handle changing priorities with flexibility

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Proficient with technology-based systems for clinical data and process tracking
