🎯 Purpose of the Role

As a Clinical Performance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful adoption and satisfaction with Bayer Radiology’s portfolio of products. This includes delivering expert-level training, driving clinical utilization, and supporting the overall customer experience through solution implementation and post-installation education.

You will be part of the Radiology Solution Delivery team, helping customers optimize their use of Bayer products and maintaining high satisfaction across clinical sites.


🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Clinical Education & Support:

    • Plan and execute First Run Yield (FRY) training on Bayer equipment and software

    • Ensure implementation aligns with Bayer standards

    • Facilitate and support adoption of new technologies during training

  • Customer Engagement & Satisfaction:

    • Serve as a clinical expert supporting sales teams and strategic accounts

    • Foster strong customer relationships and provide tailored support for desired outcomes

    • Troubleshoot clinical issues via phone, email, or on-site visits

    • Handle escalated issues with sound clinical judgment and workflow analysis

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Work with Sales, Customer Success, Inside Sales, Channel Managers, and Strategic Account Managers

    • Provide clinical insight to assist with special projects and broader business initiatives

  • Compliance & Documentation:

    • Report complaints or adverse events as per Bayer policy

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Bayer products and industry trends

    • Stay proficient with legacy and current Bayer systems


Required Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:

    • Associate’s degree + 6 years of experience, OR

    • Bachelor’s degree + 4 years, OR

    • Master’s degree + 2 years

  • Certifications:

    • Radiologic Technologist (RT) and/or CIIP certification

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of Radiology and/or IT department workflows

    • Effective communication and presentation skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new technologies

    • Critical thinking and problem-solving in complex environments

  • Other Requirements:

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Willingness to travel up to 75% (including overnight)

    • Candidates must reside within an hour of the Texas Medical Center

  • Experience with:

    • Bayer/Medrad injector systems

    • Radiation dose management software

    • Clinical IT systems within healthcare environments

  • Base Salary Range: $75,831 – $113,747 (commensurate with experience and location)
