You will play a strategic and scientific leadership role in advancing neurology clinical development programs, working closely with internal teams, biopharma partners, and regulatory authorities to deliver transformative therapies to patients worldwide.


🌟 Your Impact

As our Clinical Neurology Leader, you will:

  • Lead global clinical development strategies across multiple neurology indications, including neurodegenerative, neuroinflammatory, and rare CNS diseases

  • Serve as the primary medical expert for neurology programs, providing direction on protocol design, regulatory strategy, and scientific engagement

  • Collaborate with biopharma clients to accelerate development timelines and ensure delivery of high-quality clinical data

  • Mentor and inspire a global team of Medical Directors and Scientific Staff

  • Represent Fortrea at industry conferences, advisory boards, and regulatory meetings

  • Perform additional duties as required


🎓 What You Bring

  • Education: MD with Board Certification in Neurology (or extensive clinical experience in CNS disorders)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 7 years in neurology therapeutic area with deep drug development and clinical research expertise (Pharma/CRO environment)

    • At least 3 years overseeing neurodegenerative disease-focused investigational programs within biotechnology

    • Experience with registration trials and MAA/NDA submissions (preferred)

  • Leadership: Proven record of leading clinical development teams in CRO or biopharma settings

  • Expertise: Deep understanding of neurology drug development, trial design, and regulatory pathways

  • Skills: Strategic thinker, scientifically rigorous, and highly collaborative


🧪 Work Environment

  • Primarily remote, office-based work environment

  • Exposure to electrical office equipment

  • Occasional domestic and international travel to site locations, meetings, or conferences


💪 Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain stationary 6–8 hours/day

  • Repetitive hand movements (typing, computer use)

  • Occasional bending, twisting, crouching, or stooping

  • Light to moderate lifting (15–20 lbs) — e.g., luggage, laptop

  • Ability to use a range of software tools (in-house and off-the-shelf)

  • Regular, consistent attendance; varied hours may be required

💰 Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: USD $250,000 – $300,000 (based on skills, experience, and market data)
