Clinical Lead – Internal Medicine & Cardiology (Concord, CA)
Job Summary:
SAGE Veterinary Centers in Concord, CA, is hiring a motivated Clinical Lead to oversee and guide its Internal Medicine and Cardiology teams. This exciting opportunity allows licensed RVTs or experienced Veterinary Assistants to combine clinical expertise with leadership while working alongside some of the most advanced veterinary specialists in the country. Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support RVTs and Assistants in Internal Medicine and Cardiology departments
Maintain and uphold high standards of patient care and safety
Provide hands-on training and structured support for team members
Assist with case management, diagnostics, and effective client communications
Ensure smooth daily operations aligned with hospital goals
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of recent veterinary clinical experience
Active CA-RVT license (preferred)
Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
Proficient in anesthesia monitoring, medication calculations, and treatment protocols
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
