Work Schedule
3rd shift with rotating weekends and holidays
Week 1: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (3 days)
Week 2: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (2 days)

Job Responsibilities
Assess specimen acceptability according to established criteria
Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures per SOPs
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving
Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
Report accurate and timely test results
Perform preventive maintenance and document quality control procedures
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies
Assist with specimen processing as needed
Maintain a safe work environment and use appropriate PPE
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or equivalent non-traditional degree meeting CLIA & State regulations
Previous clinical laboratory testing experience highly preferred
ASCP or AMT certification preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in computers; familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Must pass standardized color vision screening
Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed
