Work Schedule
Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Every 3rd weekend rotation
Rotating holidays

Job Responsibilities
Assess specimen acceptability according to established criteria
Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures following SOPs
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
Make technical decisions for testing and problem-solving
Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
Report accurate and timely test results
Perform preventive maintenance and quality control documentation
Manage laboratory supplies and replenish as needed
Assist with specimen processing
Maintain a safe work environment and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree
ASCP or AMT certification preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficient in computers; familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Must pass a standardized color vision screen
Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed
