Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

  • Every 3rd weekend rotation

  • Rotating holidays

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess specimen acceptability according to established criteria

  • Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures following SOPs

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments

  • Make technical decisions for testing and problem-solving

  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls

  • Report accurate and timely test results

  • Perform preventive maintenance and quality control documentation

  • Manage laboratory supplies and replenish as needed

  • Assist with specimen processing

  • Maintain a safe work environment and use personal protective equipment (PPE)


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree

  • ASCP or AMT certification preferred

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Proficient in computers; familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills

  • Must pass a standardized color vision screen

  • Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed
