Clinical Eye Care Nurse Educator – Concord, CA
Job Summary
Syneos Health is hiring a Clinical Eye Care Nurse Educator in Concord, California, to support oncology patients by educating Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) on critical ocular assessments required for Relapsed Refractory Multiple Myeloma (RRMM) treatment. This field-based role offers a unique opportunity to bridge clinical care and education, collaborating closely with oncology teams while delivering impactful REMS-aligned content. Ideal for professionals with optometry, nursing, or oncology backgrounds looking to make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Educate Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) on essential eye exams for oncology patients.
Provide actionable guidance on communicating results to patients and oncology teams.
Develop and deliver educational materials tailored to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Collaborate with Oncology Account Managers and Medical Affairs to ensure consistent communication of product information.
Share REMS details and FDA-aligned product messaging.
Support care coordination across clinical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required.
3+ years in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing with an oncology or medical education focus; OR 1–3 years of clinical oncology experience.
Strong ability to explain complex oncology concepts clearly to ECPs.
Demonstrated success in delivering clinical education or product training.
Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional medical teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication across various management levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with specialty pharmacy or payer systems.
Credentialed Registered Nurses (CRNs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), or Physician Assistants (PAs) with eye care expertise are highly preferred.
