The Manager, AMI Clinical Engagement at Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, is responsible for deploying and executing AMI training strategies. The role primarily involves facilitating hands-on training sessions for healthcare professionals (HCPs) attending educational programs focused on facial injectables and related procedures. The manager will collaborate with clinical leadership and medical supervisors, engage in clinical training, and ensure that safety and compliance standards are maintained across training activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Implementation:

    • Implement the training strategy to enhance facial injectable educational programs.
    • Deliver presentations and hands-on training during on-site facial injectable training sessions.
    • Travel to conduct field-based HCP educational programs.
  2. Clinical Engagement and Collaboration:

    • Work closely with AMI Clinical Engagement leadership and Medical Supervisors to monitor and report on clinical activities.
    • Provide feedback to the AMI Curricula team on clinical training programs for effectiveness and improvements.
    • Perform training injections and participate in anatomy labs as part of ongoing clinical training.
  3. Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to Environmental Health and Safety, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance guidelines during all activities.
    • Promote a safety-conscious work environment and follow good housekeeping practices.
  4. Content Development and Feedback:

    • Assist in developing clinical content for the optimization of training curricula.
    • Engage in the ongoing improvement of AMI’s training programs by providing expert feedback.
  5. Regulatory Knowledge:

    • Maintain knowledge of FDA regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements as applied to Allergan Aesthetics products.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Licensure: Current, unencumbered NP/PA/RN license (preference for CA, GA, TX).
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of clinical experience with facial injectables.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a clinical education role is preferred.
    • Proven ability to deliver presentations and educational sessions to small and large groups.
    • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 20%, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and domestic travel.
  • Ability to comply with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and other international regulatory standards.

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this role is between $117,500 - $223,500, depending on experience and location.
  • Eligible for short-term and long-term incentive programs.
