Job Overview
Medpace is seeking a Clinical Data Review Associate to join its Data Management team in Navi Mumbai. This role is ideal for nurses who are interested in transitioning into clinical research and clinical data management. The position involves reviewing and validating clinical trial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with study protocols.

The selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional clinical research teams to support high-quality clinical data review processes that contribute to the successful execution of global clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Data Review

  • Review clinical trial data collected from study sites to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Identify data inconsistencies, discrepancies, or missing information within clinical datasets.

  • Perform data validation checks in accordance with clinical trial protocols and regulatory standards.

Query Management

  • Generate data queries to clarify inconsistent or incomplete clinical data.

  • Work with project teams and study stakeholders to resolve data queries in a timely manner.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and resolution of all clinical data issues.

Clinical Data Quality Support

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of clinical data review guidelines.

  • Support quality assurance processes related to clinical data management.

  • Monitor data trends and provide feedback to the project team regarding review findings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Interface with clinical research teams, data managers, and project teams regarding data review findings.

  • Contribute to improving data management workflows and study data quality.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing (BSc Nursing, GNM, or equivalent).

Experience

  • 0–3 years of experience in clinical research, clinical data management, or healthcare.

  • Entry-level candidates with a nursing background are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Basic understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical data collection.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical documentation.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
