Clinical Data Review Associate | Clinical Trials Data Management | Nurses Welcome

Medpace is hiring Clinical Data Review Associates in Navi Mumbai to support global clinical trial data review activities. This role is designed for qualified nurses seeking to transition into clinical research and data management, as well as experienced professionals with prior exposure to clinical trials or clinical data review.

Role Overview

The Clinical Data Review Associate will be part of the Data Management team, reviewing clinical trial data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness. The role involves generating and resolving queries, identifying trends in clinical datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional project teams to maintain high data quality standards across Phase I–IV clinical studies.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Data Review & Validation

  • Review clinical data collected during clinical trials for completeness and medical accuracy.

  • Identify inconsistencies, discrepancies, and missing data within study datasets.

  • Generate, track, and resolve data queries in accordance with project timelines.

  • Ensure compliance with study protocols and data management plans.

Query Management & Issue Resolution

  • Communicate with project teams to clarify data-related concerns.

  • Escalate complex issues when required.

  • Monitor trends in data discrepancies and contribute to process improvements.

Clinical Review Guidelines Development

  • Support the development and refinement of clinical data review guidelines.

  • Contribute to standardized review processes across studies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Interface with Data Managers, Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), and study teams.

  • Provide clinical insights to enhance data interpretation and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Nursing degree (BSc Nursing, GNM, or equivalent).

  • 0–5 years of experience in clinical practice, clinical trials, or clinical data review.

  • General knowledge of clinical trial processes preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Both entry-level and experienced nursing professionals are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of clinical trial phases (Phase I–IV).

  • Exposure to Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.

  • Basic knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice).

  • Ability to work in structured, office-based environments.
