Clinical Data Manager II – Remote | Canada | ICON

Job Summary:

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Clinical Data Manager II to join the world’s largest and most comprehensive clinical research organization. This is a remote role for experienced professionals in clinical data management. As a data lead, you’ll ensure end-to-end data quality, compliance, and integration across global clinical trials in oncology or inflammatory diseases. Ideal for professionals with 8–10 years of data management experience and strong EDC system expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary data management representative on project teams.

  • Communicate data metrics (e.g., query status, entry completion) to study teams.

  • Contribute to development of CRFs, Edit Checks, DMPs, Clinical Data Review Plans, and eCRF guidelines.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Control (QC) as needed.

  • Collaborate with Clinical Database Programmers on data flow charts, transfer specs, and import guides.

  • Train sites or vendors on clinical data management topics.

  • Provide data review guidance to supporting Sr. Clinical Data Coordinators.

  • Perform data review and discrepancy resolution.

  • Archive trial data and documentation post-completion.

  • Ensure compliance with GCP and international regulatory standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8–10 years in clinical data management, preferably in a CRO environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant clinical certification (RN, PA, RT) preferred.

  • Proficiency with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems; Inform™ EDC preferred.

  • Experience in oncology or inflammatory therapeutic areas preferred.

  • Project management exposure within data management is a plus.

  • Familiarity with industry regulations such as ICH-GCP, GVP, and clinical systems.
