Clinical Care Partner – Pain Management (Santa Monica, CA)
Job Summary:
UCLA Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Care Partner to join our Pain Management team in Santa Monica, California. In this full-time, career-track role, you’ll provide direct patient support under the supervision of Registered Nurses, assist with inventory management, patient preparation and transport, and maintain high standards of infection control. Responsibilities:
Support Pain Management team with basic patient care tasks
Take and record vital signs under supervision
Prepare and clean gurneys for procedures
Assist in patient transfers and discharge transportation
Maintain inventory of charts, educational materials, and medical supplies
Follow strict infection control procedures
Report pertinent information to the supervising Registered Nurse
Work a Monday–Friday shift (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM), with potential for variability
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
BLS certification from American Heart Association
Ability to lift, move, and assist patients safely
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic knowledge of infection control procedures
Experience in a clinical setting is an advantage (1+ year preferred)
