Job Overview

Responsible for recruiting volunteer participants for Phase 1 healthy volunteer studies by handling public inquiries, conducting phone screenings, and scheduling screening appointments. Training is on-site for 4 weeks (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM CDT). Positions available: full-time, part-time, and on-call.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Receive and place calls from/to potential study participants.

  • Enter medical history and demographic information into a computerized database.

  • Communicate study information to potential participants.

  • Conduct phone screenings according to provided scripts for each study.

  • Schedule and confirm screening appointments for qualified participants.

  • Liaise with the screening department to coordinate necessary information for recruitment.

  • Make recommendations for process improvement.

  • Respond to participant inquiries via the Fortrea CRU email account, if needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications / Skills

Minimum Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (USA).

  • 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience (USA).

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.


Work Environment

  • On-site in Dallas clinic.

  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods.

  • Training is conducted on-site for 4 weeks.
