Position Overview

Role: Clinical Benefits Pharmacist (CBP)
Job Type: Full-Time/Contract


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Utilize operational and clinical expertise to assist account teams and clients with oversight of prescription benefit systems.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of client-specific clinical and government programs.
  • Collaborate with the clinical services team to ensure client intent is accurately captured, applied, and tested for benefit changes.
  • Provide clinical consulting services, including best practices on utilization management and formulary strategies.
  • Translate marketplace and client information into adjudication systems.
  • Leverage managed care operational knowledge to improve consumer health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in pharmacy or a related field.
