Position Overview

Role: Clinical Benefits Pharmacist (CBP)
Job Type: Contract


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and systems expertise related to clinical components of prescription benefits.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of client-specific clinical and government programs.
  • Collaborate with the clinical services team to ensure client intent is accurately captured, applied, and tested for clinical and benefit changes.
  • Deliver clinical consulting services, including recommendations on utilization management and formulary strategy.
  • Translate marketplace and client requirements into the adjudication system for operational accuracy.
  • Utilize clinical operational knowledge in managed care to improve consumer health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of managed care operations and clinical benefits management.
